Anybody watching this year?

If so, can anybody give me a reason why Gumby is still performing??? Y'know,
the Frank Sinatra rip-off without the voice, looks, or charisma?

This is a tough one. My favorite changes week-to-week. I'm really liking
LaToya and Diana. Much better talent this year.

Does anybody besides me have a crush on Simon? :}

I think this year's show has the best group of performers I have seen in the
show's 3 seasons.
I am so sad that Matt had to leave this week (sniff) He's a really great
singer.
My favorite right now is John Peter Lewis...he's such a cutie!

Yes, he is a cutie. And that's why he's still there - it's hard not to like
him. But he's really one of the weakest singers, IMHO.

Matt is also one of the weaker singers, but a charismatic performer. I'd have
loved to see him stay on instead of Gumby. But neither Matt or Jon could win,
if true vocal talent counts for anything.

Even the weaker singers have their strong points this year, so it is harder to
choose. But the stronger singers - in particular Diana, LaToya, and Fantasia -
are awesome.

I don't know what Gumby could do besides become a lounge singer. He's
certainly no "American Idol."

I predict that Jon Peter will be found next year guesting on several TV shows
as an actor.

Of the men, clearly the only one with real vocal talent is George Huff.
I for one don't know why Camile wasn't voted off this time. That is
the worst rendition of Desperado I've ever heard, and she never looks
like she's having any fun up there. Whenever I see her perform, I
always wonder what exactly she has stuck up her beehind.
