Our Rotty is almost 9 years old. She suddenly has gone through a severe full
body shedding of her fur. She doesn't scratch and there is no sores or
swelling on her skin. We also noticed she is drooling much more recently
(this may be nothing - her sister has been a drooler since she was a puppy)
and her jaw quivers from time to time. From what I read she may have a
nutritional, a thyroid or a hormonal problem. She plays the same and is
still her perky old self and same appetite. We did change her dog food today
also to see if that helps. Our vet is away this week and we were wondering
if anyone else has had a dog go through this.
