My 11 yo herder mix has hemorrhages in both eyes- the Vet had not seen
this (in any dog) before.

At the Eye specialist yesterday she said she did not really know either.
But said,
suspected bilateral chronic superficial keratitis, prescribed
cyclosporine 1% for three months and artificial tear solution daily
(forever).

She said his lymph glands were enlarged and a small chance of cancer was
possible. She is looking at the blood work and will let me know results.

The previous use of steroid drops in the eye (prescribed by another Vet)
probably made the problem worse (beware steroid drops!)

This Specialist appeared extremely competent (and very nice as a bonus
although expensive, of course).
I don't feel good about Her not being sure of what this is.
