Default Tired

I am officially sick and tired of the rain. It's wonderful for my
garden, especially my new roses, but I've had it. For the past 2 days,
3 times a day, I've been taking the dogs out. Where we go doesn't
matter. The dogs end up completely wet and filthy. I end up soaked,
with mud all the way up to my ankles. When we get home, both dogs need
to be cleaned up, and by the time they're done, I need a bath myself.
My ordinarily sweet smelling dogs both have that wet dog smell about
them. I feel like the whole house stinks, not to mention my clothes.

Sorry for venting, folks. Haven't seen the sun in at least two days,
and I'm getting cranky. Being cold and wet, seemingly all the time,
doesn't help in the sunny disposition department either.

Hi Suja,

Man oh man do I know what you mean. We spent the evening hanging out at the
Sterling Petsmart. Remo got to sit in on the "Doggie Fun Camp" which is
somewhat like very basic agility work. He ran through the tunnel, went up a
ramp, jumped over three jumps of various heights and then jumped through the
suspended tire. Then he had fun wrestling Flip, who is a JRT that we know
from the Reston dog park. My backyard is now officially a lake and it is no
fun having all of these GSDs tromping outside and coming back up to their
elbows in mud. Yuck!

Jim walks Cubbe which makes him in charge of getting soaked once. I
give her her brief piddles when she requests them which means I get
soaked several times a day by putting on shoes and a coat and standing
outside on the front lawn for only the minute it takes Cubbe to pee. It
is expected to stay like this for the week, the whole North East. For
you it is roses. For me, peas. For once I got peas in the ground early
in the spring while it is still cold.
