He'll either puke it up or have loose stools on the other end. No real
lasting harm. Dogs love alfalfa and bone meal and other organic supplements
and can't get enough of them. Either run an electric wire around the
perimeter of the beds or use a chemical time release fertilizer like
Osmocote and scratch it in.
