Default Bad knees and/or bad vet? (long)

I tried to get Spike's records from the vet who did the surgery and he not
only refused to give them to me but refused to give them to the new vet

when
they requested them. The old vet's policy is to give you a list of the
procedures performed and the date they were performed on but absolutely no
detail. He told the new vet that I would not get detailed records without
taking him to court.

And my first question to him would be, "What are you trying to hide?" That
ought to move things along.

We have *never* refused to send or fax records for any reason. When clients
ask for copies our policy is to never ask "why". Granted, the vast
majority is for reasons other than customer dissatisfaction. But in our
experience, records are routinely faxed back and forth among veterinarians
for a wide variety of reasons. This is certainly suspicious.
