My wife was driving back from a lecture in Indianapolis Thursday
night. She decided to stop at a gas station for a bottle of water. Upon exiting the store she saw a terrible sight. A family had taken off without checking that their dog was with them. It had been tied to the bumper. It had been dragged to death. The senselessness of it. What a terrible way to die. Jim |

What a terrible way to die. wow. not to take away from how horrible that must have been for the poor dog, but i can't imagine how the family must feel. that's something i don't think i'd ever be able to forgive myself for. -- shelly (perfectly foul wench) and elliott & harriet http://home.bluemarble.net/~scouvrette Our lives are merely trees of possibilities. -- Tyrannosaurus Rex, "Dragon's Ear" |
