Most rescues have you sign a contract...that if for any reason
you *no* longer want to keep the dog, you will *return* the dog
to the rescue group. Even if you have *no* such contract, you
should call the rescue group. Discuss the problems you are having
and see if they might have a dog better suited to your situation.
I feel pretty sure that the rescue will take back the Chocolate Lab.
