The Wilson bridge is the one that us out of towners take, isn't it?

Oh yeah, that's the truly eeevil bridge. The only time I have taken it
entirely willingly and didn't mind the traffic was when we went to pick
up Khan for the very first time from the kennel. IIRC, the 45 minutes
or so trip took well over 2 hours.

At least
it didn't have a foot of water on it like I95 in downtown Richmond did on
Monday.

We got maybe a drizzle out of Gaston. 1" tops in some areas.
Hopefully, Frances won't be coming our way, although we can certainly
use the water up here. Last I checked, the predicted track is for it to
continue through Georgia into Tennessee, and if anything, the waaay
western portions of NC and VA might get some of the remnants.
Unfortunately, these things have a nasty habit of not listening to
predictions and computer models.

Yes! I finally have my power back!

Welcome back! How long were you out?
