Too "sweet" for her own good:

She was loose playing in the park 2 nights ago, and disappeared round the
corner of the reception center. Usually she circles the building and
reappears, so I waited the usual interval before whistling for her. She came
galloping to me, and a minute later a man in a cook's uniform appears...

I am apprehensive that there may be a party at the center that Angel
invaded, but...

"Who trained a terrier to come on a whistle? How'd you do that? I have an
American Staffordshire Terrier, but it won't come. Your Airedale came and
stood in the open kitchen door, so shy and so sweet... I gave her a piece of
steak so she'd let me pet her, and then you whistled and she took off."

"How much steak?"

"Oh, just a few ounces!"

"Uhh, thanks, that was kind. She didn't go into the kitchen, did she?"

"No, no, well, I've got to get back..."

And I'm thinking, I can't really give him fits for feeding her, when I let
her run loose and out of sight...and oh sh*t We're going to be up all night
with the consequences of his kindness. Actually I was wrong. We made it
through the night, and he had to go out and have the runs every two hours
yesterday. Last trip was midnight last night.
