My 4 month old sheltie will not climb stairs. I have to carry her
upstairs at night. I have tried to teach her but she won't or can't. If I'm upstairs during the day she cries at the bottom until I come down. She is very active so I see no physical reason why she shouldn't be able to do it. The other day I helped her do a few steps and then turned to get a treat and she panicked and fell down the steps. She will do the 3 wooden steps to her kennel or concrete steps outside with no problem. Inside I have linoleum with rubberized edging on the steps. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Lori |
