Hi,
Thank you for the suggestiosn I got here a while back when I posted about my dog's basic urine, and possible kidney problems. The blood test came back and the Vet told me that there was no reason to worry about kidney problems. So I guess I will just have him eating this special food for now, and get another **** test when he is done with the bag to see if it is helping at all. Are there any other steps I should take? --Falooley |

Just keep an eye on his frequency, if you can. And if you can get a peek at
it, the color. "Bob Falooley" wrote in message ... Hi, Thank you for the suggestiosn I got here a while back when I posted about my dog's basic urine, and possible kidney problems. That's good news. At least you know you're heading in the right direction. I'm keeping mine on steamed white rice (the kidney group seems to think it is better than brown rice for some reason?), carrots, and the Science Diet KD along with a vitamin E capsule from the info gleaned from the kidney group and avoid all salty foods and scrap all people (junk) food which I've been better at. So far he seems fine except frequency is still high as is water intake (he can go/hold all night though which is good), but that has always been his norm even when he was a pup 9 years ago. From what I've learned, he may have always had weak kidneys from birth only to find now that, since he is older and got tested, his numbers are up. He'll get tested in another month and I'll see.
