I'm trying to compose a comprehensive list of the dog breeds represented
on this list. I know I could get it by going over old posts, but humor
me and post. If your dog is a recognizeable breed like "Chow Chow,"
post that. If your dog is probably a mix of two or 3 breeds, make your
best guess and post them as in "Border Collie- Springer Spaniel." If
your dog is such a mix that you couldn't possibly make an accurate
guess, get fanciful as in "Coconut Grove Fox Hound" or "Wild Spotted
Wire Haired Coon Terrier."

I have 2 Labradors and a Collie.

I have also "adopted as my own" my mentor's dogs which are about 20 Labs
(please don't make me count them--be happy I can tell them all apart!), 5
gordons, and a Irish Setter.

MacKenzie - hoo boy :} - okay, I'll tell you what I've finally decided is the
closest guess - rottie x basenji. She is rottie-like in temperament, coloring
and body movement. She is basenji-like in tail (curls up, though not as
dramatically as a basenji), general body shape (very unrottie-like tuck-up),
and preference for high places. And there's something unexplainable...
whenever I see a basenji, I'm reminded of her. Something about the shape of
the face or the expression, though her expressions are also very rottie-like...
I don't know, maybe it's an aura I'm picking up. :}
