Default sick dog , please help

my dog is about 7 years old and out of the blue he became sick. He
is rat terrier and very active. He is in pain all over his body ,
you can`t even touch him. I was talking to my friend and her dog was
going through the same thing and the vet put her dog through some tests
and they said it was an intestinal parasite and they de-wormed her dog.
Her dog is fine. My dog is getting worse. I de-wormed him and he is not
getting better. He is in pain all over, you can`t touch him . Hardly
eating, little drinking, his stool looks fine -very little, he cries
when walks . Please can someone help me, anyone who knows about what my
dog is going through. I would really appreciate any help. Thank You so
much.

Take your dog to the vet. It could be any number of things. Dewormers that
you can get over the counter are not effective for all parasites nor are
they treatments for the most serious of them. It could be anything from an
infection to internal bleeding.

Absolutely get the vet to take another look. I'd also be suspicious of an
autoimmune disorder.
