I travel frequently to rural Mexico and each time end up with stray
and injured dogs following me around (am sometimes called "the Gringo con perros"). Whenever possible I try and treat injuries through local vets. These are usually cuts or broken limbs, treatable! Some dogs may require further treatment, broken limbs don't heal overnight, and broken hearts may take even longer! All dogs are malnourished and mistreated, but after initial distrust the animals are invariably adorable and affectionate. I'm looking for expats living in Mexico, as well as American and Canadian families back home who would be willing to adopt a dog. I will be happy to deliver a dog anywhere on the way from Central Mexico to Peterborough Ontario. Please contact me through this email or through my website. I apologize up front for not being able to reply in a timely manner and for posting this OT message. Cheers! JK. http://www.spywriter.com |
