I have a Chihuahua that is a year old name star. She doesn't eat food by
her self, my mother hand feeds her but the dog eats. star is very picky
with her food. She eats everything like cat food and tolite paper and
little things off the floor and I'm very concerned about my dogs health.
For the past few days my dog has been having diarrhea and she's in pain.
What should I do to help her?

im on a fixed income and i dont know what to do. i love my dog very much

The fact that your dog is in pain is a sign that you should take her to a
vet.

The fact that she eats things off the floor is a clue that she might have
eaten something that cold have become lodged or stuck in her gut. This
could be serious.

If you are on a fixed income and the cure for your dog is expensive, the vet
might be able to arrange a payment schedule for you.

If you cannot afford a vet, call you local ASPCA to see if they can offer a
cheaper alternative.

Some how you got to get your dog to a vet right away. I wouldn't wait.

Dogs frequently get diarrhea, and usually you just need to change what
they are eating.

But you MUST bring a dog in pain and/or who has diarrhea for more than a
couple of days to a vet. You just have to do this. If you don't have
much money call your local humane society or animal shelter and ask them
for help. But for heaven's sake, don't wait around while your dog is in
pain!!!
