Years ago I had a Mastiff that used to go in a local bar and have a beer or
two...I certainly would not allow much more than that...They love the malt taste...GG "Murphy'sgal" wrote in message ups.com... so, really, folks...is it not at all safe for a 100 lb dog to have a beer? |

There used to be a buffalo in a pasture down the road from us who was
notorious for his love of beer. We saw several corny pictures of him with a can gripped in his mouth and his head tilted back to drain it down his throat. I have no opinion on whether it would hurt him, but he lived a long time. "cagney" wrote in message ... no animal should be drinking beer. GET REAL "Gary G" wrote in message ... In all honesty, that should include people as well.
My grandfather's sheltie mix got a small bowl of beer on Sundays. She was quite an intense dog, and it tended to mellow her - a good thing on Sundays when family gathered.
