Okay, so the owners, as expected asked us if we would like this pup.
Its spent the last couple of days around us most of the time anyway and I think they were glad to let it go. So now, I have bought a new collar for the pup and a food bowl. As said, two months old. its going for the kids feet and his teeth are flamin sharp. I know I know, its a puppy and its proly teething, but any tips on getting it to stop that? Chasing feet I mean. Not to bad with me, I think I've got it to know what Uh uh means and so its not so keen to nibble me feet or hands. Im making an extra fuss of the old guys around here. 9 and 10 years old so they'll come around. And feeding them all together so that should help. Got the collar and lead on the pup and allowing him to drag that around so he gets used to having a lead on his neck before we start to lead train him. will give him a couple of days around here and start introducing to all the environments etc. He seems house trained as he's willing go out to the yard and takes a dump So thats going to be easy. So that you know, who ever wants to respond, Im more a roger mugford kinda trainer in that when he sits him self down we're saying sit, come etc, And teaching hand signals as well. I know, early days, but thats the kind of trainer I am. All being well he'll pick up some tips from the old fellas around here. Cheers, trog |
