Default Dog Treats?

Aviram Carmi wrote:
Hi All,

Looked at some dog treats, was surprised to see that even some of the

"better"
brands have ingredients that are "not acceptable", for example, Old

Mother
Hubbard contains animal fat, (which can supposedly include any

animal,
including restaurant grease...)

Over all, seems that all treats are a notch lower in my perceived

quality
than the corresponding dry dog food....

Any recommendations for "good" treats, i.e. human quality

ingredients???

I am having a very difficult time finding an Innova source around

here.

Hello. I am looking for input to this particular topic if you would so
kindly help. I currently manufacture for a small company and have been
considering going into a complete organic line of dog treats which use
free range meat. The product I make now is totally human consumable.
I love the taste of them however they need salt and are hard on the
teeth. My question is this something that would be of interest to
others. I know that there are other organic products out there but
they don't seem to have meat in them and are not suitable for human
consumption. I know that with my dog I feel if its good enough for him
it should be good enough for me. I know that's a stretch but. Anyway
any input would be appreciated.
thanks
