Hi, I've never used this before so I hope this gets to someone who can help
me. I have just rescued an 8yr old dalmation from being put down. Apparently he doesn't get along with other dogs and the house he was in had lots of dogs so he was in fights quite a lot. Anyway, they were going to put him down so being a dog lover, I said I would take him in. So far he seems wonderful...no problems at all except for some sores that became apparent when I bathed him. They look like pink patches which have bled a little. He was very aggitated after the bath and was rubbing his face all over his bed and towels. I have left a message with his previous owner to see if they know anything about it. Do you have any ideas what it could be? I have never owned a dalmation before so I don't know if this is a common skin problem or something we need to see a vet about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
