Hi,
I'm looking at getting a dog, and one of the breeds I'm considering is an Old English Sheepdog. I've never owned this breed before, but I've worked with them at a local animal shelter and love their personality. I've done some research online, and my one potential area of concern is the grooming requirements of an Old English Sheepdog. By way of comaprison, could anyone tell me how much grooming time an OES requires as compared to a sheltie? I previously owned a sheltie, and although some have complained about the grooming, I didn't find it bad at all -- frankly, I enjoyed it most of the time. I don't have a problem with learning a new grooming technique or anything like that; I just wonder how heavy "heavy grooming" really is. Thanks in advance for the info! -Robert |
