Default Dog with problems...

Hi everyone
I hope someone can help me with diagnosing the problem with my 12 year
old West Highland White Terrier.
Over the past few weeks, she has been falling over onto her stomach
and has a little spasm for about 5 seconds. She doesn't seem to be in
any pain afterwards, and before it happens she becomes a bit
distressed. She has up to 8 per day. After each episode, she gets up
and continues her life like it never happened. It seems to be getting
worse, too.
The vet is very confused, but has ruled out diabetes and epilepsy. He
seems to think its a heart problem, but the blood thinning and heart
steadying drugs haven't helped.

Any thoughts?
