Could anyone point me to a guide on how I could get my little boy, Frank
(now 7 months old) to stop doing his poops indoors and instead do them
outside?

When we put him outside he just either sniffs about or waits at the door
to come in and then when the time is ready he poops or pees somewhere in
the house. He knows it's bad because he never does it on the same floor
as us.

I have tried giving him a treat on the rare occasion he does one
outdoors but he doesnt get the message.

Can anyone help?

Uh oh...

He shouldn't "know it's bad." When you teach him that pooping is "bad" (i.e.,
by discipline), you are teaching him not to do it when you're around. Then you
have a pup who is virtually impossible to housetrain, because he won't do it in
front of you so you can praise him.
