BREED SPECIFIC DOG FOOD Vs. ALL-BREED DOG FOOD
http://home.att.net/%7Ewdcusick/

What are people's opinions of this guy?

It's a site that recommends ingredients based on what type of dog you
have.

I have a Sheltie. Here is what he recommends.
I recommend a blend of lamb, fish, potato, and barley for today's
Shetland Sheepdog. Nutrients this breed should avoid are avocado, beef,
soy, yellow corn, or beet meal.

I feed Wellness... Any other foods have similar ingredients that match
the above recomendation?

Food choice can be a VERY frustrating thing. If you are looking for
Shelties specific, I would recommend a Sheltie Bulletin Board. There should
be plenty out there; there are for every other breed.

I guess alot depends on the general health of your dogs. If they do well on
Wellness, but you are afraid of the changes that may come, look for a food
that has the same ingredients.

Good luck.

I followed the link, and found the interface almost too annoying to
continue. I did, though, scroll down and down and down in the little frame
on the left until I found where to find out what to feed my Great Dane. When
I clicked on my breed, I found a very lengthy propaganda piece about how
great this guy is and how wonderful all his ideas are, then a copied page
from an online breed standards site, then the warning that he does not
recommend any commercially available food for a Great Dane. He wants us to
e-mail him and then send him $100 per food packet we order directly from
him. I checked several other breeds and they all say exactly the same thing.
Overall, it gets a huge thumbs down from me!!!
