Yes, I've seen a couple of episodes! It was interesting, and I did learn
some things; but there is no magic involved. By that I mean, in one
case, the guru jumped into a swimming pool in order to encourage a
retriever type dog to enter the water, too. I wouldn't have thought of
that right away, because I don't enjoy pools. However, like his other
solutions, even that one was a common sense maneuver.

If you have some dog handling experience, you can often spot the cause
of the problem and know the solution(s) before the program makes it
clear. That's good for one's ego.

Incidentally, this program is also a good way to learn about how pet
owners warp their dogs. Knowing the cause, often expedites the solution.

Reminds me of my sister and I teaching our sheltie to jump off the top of
the boathouse with us into the lake! Took a while, but by the end of the
day, he would run behind us and leap! We didn't have to do anything but
keep running, jumping, calling him and repeat! Of course it had the side
effect of him bailing off the boat, the dock, the bank, etc if he saw
something fun like ducks! Had to watch him like a hawk after that!
