My Toy Fox Terrier age 6.5 months was neutered yesterday and now he
has some blood in his urine - at times and sometimes he squats for quite a long time and passes little or nothing. His fruitless squatting reminds me of what it feels like to have a bladder infection - all urge, little results. At other times he justs wets where he is laying (asleep?) I took him back to the vet today and his gums were niced and pink and he had no unusual temp. The vet didn't seem to concerned about either problem. He is eating and drinking well and the incision looks good, no redness. Does anyone have experience with this? Seen it before? Just looking for some reassurance I guess. He is strictly an indoor dog and we're quite tolerant of the accidents and do not scold him. He was not completely housebroken before the surgery as we adopted him 3 weeks ago. He's not alpha, but he is not overly submissive either. Any advice or experience sharing would be greatly appreciated. |
