My sister has a four year old rat terrier that is constantly having "yeast
infections" in ears and on stomach. She has tried yeast -free food diets, specialty dog foods, cortizone shots, antibiotics, and many countless/expensive trips to the vet. The diet gives temporary relief for only six weeks. This has been an ongoing problem for about a year. Any advice would be appreciated. The dog is suffering and needs help. |

There's a product called Threelac made by Global Health Trax. It's marketed for humans and is recommended highly by people who have tried it (including those on yeast NG's, cancer Ng's, etc). I'll be purchasing it for my sister in law who has chronic yeast problems. I have not tried it myself nor do I know anyone personally who has, but the testimonials are numerous, widespread, and dramatic. For humans, it's not even necessary to be on a total yeast free diet while taking Threelac, and it's supposed to work quickly. It is sold thru distributor (and directly from Global Health Trax in San Diego, CA) so just do a search on Threelac, and you'll find lot's of info plus sites it can be ordered from. They carry a money back guarantee. I called one of those sites today, and was told you can give it to your dog as well at 1/2 dose of what a human gets. I'll probably be purchasing it soon for my dog. Good luck. |
