Place him in Weimaraner Rescue if you can't get him back to his breeder.
They will have the ability to screen homes and make a responsible
placement.
Not a lot I can add except to reiterate that weims are not a dog for
everyone - I have a beautiful young gal but she is *hard work*. I had
studied dog behaviour on a course, I have had a mixture of dogs around me
since I was born - from shelties to borzois - and spent a good 4 years
researching first, but she's still had me wondering 'why on earth???' many a
time.
The only person who should even consider one of these dogs is the one that
will commit 300% + and be prepared to put a few tears behind them, and if
your dog doesn't find that home, he'll just end up like many, far too many,
other weims that are dead before their time due to people just not
understanding what kinda commitment this breed really needs.
