I don't imagine you wanted me to quote the flood, but here is what I'm
seeing.

no, i don't want you to repeat it. however, quoting
judiciously is generally a good thing. when you do not quote,
your posts appear completely out of context.

really, no thank you. i already know he's a nutcase.

i don't know what you think you're going to accomplish by
telling Jerry to shut up. if it were that simple, he would've
been gone from here eight years ago. my advice is to killfile
him or ignore him, because you can't change his behavior. if
you continue to try, you'll find yourself killfiled by many of
the regulars.

Oh, that's not too bad. To summarize for everyone, 7 out of the 45 posts in
this thread have been from our resident nutter, from 5 of his various addresses.
Don't worry, he's often a lot harder on people - someone once counted it up and
he'd made something like 100,000 posts in one calendar year, most of them just
cut & pasted word for word from earlier ones. And if I recall correctly altogether
his posts make up something like 1/4 of all the posts to rec.pets.dogs.behavior.

Sorry you had to be the target of all that. I know it can be hard to sort the
wheat from the chaff around here - as has already been said, the best way around
the problem is to use a killfile. I'm glad to know you were able to wade through
all the sewage and learn something anyway.

Maybe the loon is a dog that got hold of a keyboard and is hitting
copy/paste by accident. I bet it's one of those Jack Russells, they
are sneaky little guys. I'm using google for my newsgroups and don't
know if I can killfile this puppy but I'm gonna try. He shows total
lack of mission though. If his goal is to terrorize the newsgroup he's
doing a lousy job because crossposting just shows how innefective he is
that he has to spread his noise to other INNOCENT people.

If he had any intelligence he would try to plead his case, stand his
ground and agree to disagree. Then he could build his own world of his
beliefs in this newsgroup and no one could take it away from him. As
it stands, his message is nothing and his goals are merely juvenile
noise. That doesn't make for a very effective campaign to get his
point across, assuming he has a point. He could just be off
medications though and in need of help. Has he ever had discussions in
the group or is it all just kiddy noise?
