Hello,

I'm desperately searching for a good home within the UK for a Collie cross
bitch aged approximately 3 years.

She came in to rescue kennels in Devon as a dog that had been mistreated in
the past. Very nervous, clingy and frightened of loud noises.

She has been rehomed twice with no success because although she is coming
out of herself she will show her teeth if placed in an awkward position of
if a well built person approaches her with hands out towards her face. She
has not bitten, but I would certainly not place her in a home with young
children - just in case.

The kennels decided that the risk of homing to a third home was too great so
they were going to put her down. As the kennel manager I intervened and have
taken her home to privately rehome myself. Unfortuantely my tennancy does
not allow dogs, otherwise I would take her on myself.

If anyone knows of a good home, anywhere within the UK then please contact

I guess you are all decent animal people on here, so I don't have to stress
just how important it is that you take her on for life. Don't take her out
of sympathy and please do understand that it will take time and training to
to bring her properly out of herself.
