Default dogs pooping on the grass

How do i get my dog to stop pooping on the grass and go elsewhere. I have
tried taking her out by leash and getting her to poop where I want her to,
but she would not go and they would end up going in the house. She is now
10 months and I am tired of her pooping on the lawn. We have a fairly
large yard and she can go in many other spots. Any suggestions
THANKS

What kind of surface do you want her to poop on?

Anyway, keep on with what you're doing, though you'll need
infinite patience - don't give up until she goes and reward her
appropriately when she does. Maybe a longer leash, like a
Flexi?

So, the problem is not that she poops on the lawn, but that she doesn't
poop in one of your "designated pooping zones"? I wonder if there are
also "peeing zones", "sniffing zones" and so forth.

Tether your dog inside a "designated pooping zone" and make her stay
there until she poops or dies. Its high time this filthy, inconsiderate
puppy learns some discipline!

Suzanne B., is 94025 your zip code? Menlo Park, CA? 46 homes were sold
in that zip code in the last 30 days, with an average cost of $868K.
Gosh, what would the neighbors say...?!

Did you know there are actually companies which will come out and scoop
up your dog's poop on a prescribed schedule--for a fee, of course.

Something tells me your puppy has a very rough life ahead. I think you
should consider trading her for a stuffed dog: they never poop anywhere.

Sorry, but bears **** in the woods, and dogs poop on the grass. It's just
the way things are, and you don't want to mess with the natural order of
things?

Do you?

Of course, you could toilet train your dog to sit on the "john" like I did
with mine. Makes yard cleanup a lot easier, but it's tough getting him to
read the newspaper while he is going. He seems to want to chew it, then use
the front page for toilet paper.
