My DH and I have job offers in London, England and are trying to decide
whether to take them. The biggest worry we have is where to exercise Taz, our 1.5 year old lab. She has a lot of energy to say the least. Does anyone know of any information on dog parks or places to exercise dogs in London? We will probably be living and working in the N1, Islington area. We also recently started beginning agility. Anyone know about agility in London? BTW, we have followed all the necessary steps to avoid the quarrantine and will hire an expediter for her immigration. Any hidden pitfalls to this process? Thanks for any help. Aimee and Taz |

We don't have leash laws like you do in the US, most parks have an area cordoned off for children to play safely and plenty of space around for off lead dog play, so long as your dog is fairly well behaved and doesn't go off after cyclists, joggers, skaters etc. Dogs are allowed on trains, so just out side of Londfon you can also find large areas of 'green belt' specifically set aside for people to enjoy and prevent urban sprawl... (in theory, at least)... I can safely say you wont have any problems enjoying active dog ownership in London. Agility is plentiful... check out http://www.agilitynet.co.uk Diana -- Cindy the weimaraner's web site: http://cindy-incidentally.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk |
