Are banana skins in any way toxic or harmful to dogs? My Lab LOVES
bananas. I freeze them skin and all when they get too ripe (to make banana bread with) But it dawned on me that they would make great doggie popsicles! Anyone know? Rainy -- I can take it, I can make it. Like the man that you taught me to be. - Cindy Alexander http://cindyalexander.com |

Skins taste awful I think. I don't know that they are toxic to the dogs but
as a precaution I wouldn't feed the skin to him. I've never heard of bananas causing problems but if given in excess they could probably cause loose stools. Barney used to like to eat a bite of banana once in a while but it wasn't his favorite food. Celeste "Raindrop" wrote in message news ![]() Are banana skins in any way toxic or harmful to dogs? (I already have about 30 this way in the freezer) Guess I freeze some peeled ones next time. -- I can take it, I can make it. Well you could let them thaw some then peel them. I doubt they'd have to be
completely thawed to use a knife and get off the skin. Celeste "Raindrop" wrote in message ink.net... buglady wrote: "Raindrop" wrote in message news
