We have a part spaniel (a good percentage of Cavalier King Charles). She is
about 4.5 years old. We got her from a rescue service. She is really good
and listens most of the time. Travels with us everywhere we go, even on long
trips. We take her out numerous times during the day and she urinates each
time she goes out. We were thinking that she has been with us long enough to
remain in the house, outside of her crate, while we're not home. However,
we've noticed she urinates on the corner of the dining room rug, not far
from her crate. This is very discouraging given her age and her great
disposition otherwise. She has defecated a couple of times in the house, on
a rug in the last year or so that we've had her. Any suggestions?
