I thought it was impolite to use capital letters except where you were
taught to use them in English class. Isn't using capitals considered
shouting? Just visited this NG today usually visit another dog NG.

It is sometimes helpful to give a gentle nudge to someone who is new.
But a person new to a newsgroup themselves isn't much in a position to
know whether comment is helpful or fanning the flames. People who already
understand the social conventions usually don't respond well to someone
telling them they are "impolite."
