Default Please advise on treatment

I have an 8 year old Labrador dog. He's in extremely good health and
has had no medical problems in the past. 3 month's ago I moved house
and I've noticed an increase in the time my dog spends scratching at
his body and licking his paws. I haven't detected any fleas but have
administered flea treatment anyway, it didn't help. I suspect he's
allergic to something but I haven't got a clue what it could be. I
haven't changed his diet, he gets Pedigree Chum meat; I guess it
could be something in the house or the new areas I walk him, I used to
take him over some fields but I now live near a canal so I walk him
there and in a local park, I suspect it's here where the allergic
reaction occurs.

What treatments would you recommend?

Thanks
Darren

Our Inca developed inflammation of her pads, the vet thought she might be
allergic to something in the grass. He prescribed a spray (Genesis Topical
Spray - solution of 0.015% Triamcinolone acetonide) that has worked wonders.
My understanding is that it's a mild corticosteroid that helps with the
inflammation and the itchiness.
