Default Harriet's Brindle Bits

i've mentioned before that harriet (Boxer), who looks fawn, is
actually brindle. she has faint striping that's difficult to
see clearly unless she's in the proper light. usually, her
coat looks like tiger maple, but in good, strong light, you
can see faint but unmistakable brindling.

i finally got a couple of halfway decent pictures. (the
photos aren't great, and don't show as much detail as they
could, but so far, that's the best i've been able to do.)

Alright, don't fib, you did that with a ballpoint pen! That's pretty neat,
honestly, I've never seen that before. That pic of her upside down kills me.

ha! no, no pens or Sharpies involved. what's funny is that
i didn't notice the brindling for a few years. i knew she had
black stripes on the backs of her hind legs, but i'd never put
two and two together, and hadn't looked more closely to see if
she had other stripes.

so, i guess she's kinda the opposite of a reverse brindle.

That pic of her upside down kills me.

that's my goofball!
