Hi,
I need a dog for tending a flock at an elevation of about 4000 ft., that can live outdoors (except in the winter) and doesn't eat too much (if that's possible). Any ideas? Belgian Malinois or German Shepherd? English sheep dog? But this is for California, so maybe the long-haired dogs won't do. I have never owned a pet before, unless you consider feral cats a pet. RL |
