My Boston is three years old and he has never had this before. The
english bulldogge is new. We have only had her about three months and
she has had it for the past two months. The boston had it for awhile
but cleared up with meds from the vet. The vet did a skin scraping and
said it was an allergy to something, they just don't know what. I have
all the same stuff in the new house that we had in the old house, so I
assume it is something in the yard. I just can't figure out what it is.
I have taken out some bushes and I am laying mulch to cover the "weeds"
around the fence. It almost looks like poison Ivy. It is all under her
belly, on her feet, and on her lips. It is oozzy and pussy and has a
real bad oder. I have been rubbing her down with neosporin and it seems
to help, but I was just curious if anyone had this experience and knew
of a particular plant that is known to cause this in dogs.
