old dog lung - meds?
The vet has diagnosed my 13 1/3 year old mutt ( best guess - gordon setter,
borzoi , and something else) with old dog lung. Inhaling is an effort. You can see her chest working to bring in the air. He's prescribed temaril-p for her with the caveat that it is harmful if given long term. Quality of life is so much better with the med that it seems worth it to keep her on it, but I would like to try something else to try. Does anyone know of a different medication for it?
