Since most planes and cruise ships don't take dogs, what's a good
vacation i can take them on ? Anyone have some good ideas ? What's
your idea of a good doggie vacation ?

we go to the coast. we have two kids and three dogs and like most
families are drawn to the seaside.
if we go slightly out of season then the dogs are allowed on the beach,
we all have a great time.
one town we visit are so used to having holiday dogs around many of the
restuarants are dog friendly so thet dont miss out on trade but all 7
of us are welcome.

there are sites on the net on dog friendly holidays and places to
visit. have a great waggy holiday,dg.

I like camping in remote areas with them where we can have fun outside.
This is easier to do if you live away from the big population centers on
the coasts. For example, southeastern Utah has some wonderful, extremely
remote spots that humans and dogs can enjoy together with minimal
restrictions.

More hotels are nowadays catering for dogs and even the higher class hotels
are in on the act.

An article on holidays for dogs appeared in the Daily Mail last saturday.
