Emega 3 and 6 supplements for dogs with allergies.

I have been doing quite a bit of reading on dogs with allergies. Is it a
good idea to provide Omega 3 and Omega 6 supplements for dogs with
allergies? Has any one noted success using these supplements? If so...
what name brand or type would you recommend.
