Pastor Accused Of Tossing Puppies

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Several puppies are getting special care at Animal
Care and Control on the Westside.
One man called police this week after he says he saw someone throwing
the puppies from the back of a pickup truck.
Police arrested 48-year-old Vincent Kohn on animal cruelty charges. He
told police he's a local pastor.
Police say they found several more dogs at Kohn's home. The dogs were
near starvation according to detectives.
The man who called police says he confronted Kohn right away. "I got
furious," said Bob Tiencken. "I told him to pick them animals up right
now; I'm going to call police."
The dogs are being treated for various infections. No word yet on
whether the dogs will be put up for adoption. First Coast News
