Default Dog vomiting yellow bile in the morning?

My female greyhound has been vomiting yellow bile early in the morning
or in the evening when she hasn't eaten for a long time about once or
twice a week. She eats a lot of grass from the back yard and will throw
up big clumps of grass or will pass clumps of grass in her stool. She
has vomited bloody clumps of grass a couple of times and had bloody
diarrhea with grass in it a couple of time. She wil sometimes act sick
after vomiting and not want to eat or she will be fine and want to eat.
She has had a complete work up at the vet ( x-rays, blood work, ultra
sound, stool sample) and everything is normal. Is this all from eating
grass? Could it be reflux gastritis?

You don't say what sort of grass she's eating but some grass is rough to
downright sharp. I remember chasing a friend through an overgrown field
and ending up with bloody weals on my legs. Since she enjoys eating
grass you may want to provide her with a tray of nice soft, tender
bluegrass specially planted for this specific purpose. This is also
good in the winter as it can be brought inside when the weather turns
cold so that she can continue to graze.

Also, since you mention throwing up bile when it's been a long times
since her last meal, she may do better being fed smaller, more frequent
meals.
