Please research all medicines your vet. prescribes BEFORE giving them to
your dog. Go into senior dog project for a lot of information.
There are MANY alternatives to what they are so free to hand out.
Pfizer was sued by the many people who lost their beloved pets due to
Rimadyl. They took their commercial off the air because the FDA told
them they had to disclose that your dog could die from taking this drug
if they had their commercial on t.v. so of course you'll never see that
commercial again. Be very very careful. The vets. get kick backs from
some of their pharmaceutical companies - free trips, free computers,
etc. etc. before going on rimadyl be sure to get a blood test before
giving the medicine, then watch your dog very closely - any difference
get them off, however note that some dogs died the very day they were
given rimadyl. many many alternatives out there. there's no excuse for
this.
