Karen Ramstead is a Siberian Husky musher and CKC breed
judge who's taken champion show dogs into some really tough
distance races (she's still out on the Iditarod trail at the
moment) and is doing some great work on moving the show line
dogs back towards working qualities. There's a DVD out
about her team, and now there's a music video from the DVD
online at http://www.northwapiti.com/dvd.html. Mushing is
just necessarily a remote, somewhat solitary activity, and I
don't think many people get an opportunity to see the dogs
doing what the dogs actually do.
