Default Introducing Max

Greetings:

Max is the little Pomeranian fellow I mentioned that I was going to meet.
He is being fostered by the rescue group I adopted my cat from. I met him
this weekend and I am taking care of him for a week while his foster
"mom" attends a conference. He has only been here half a day but he is
very good at getting along with everyone. He seems to have no issues. Of
course I know he may just need some time for them to come out. But his
foster mom said he didn't have any, and he's been there about a month --
she only has one other dog, though, but her other dog is a bossy
chihuahua who is actually a lot more dog than one might think!

He is possibly or maybe probably just temporary but if he's going to be
so dang flang easy...

Here's a few pix:

He's very cute. I hope a week will show how the dynamic will work. Adding
a 3rd dog can create interaction problems sometimes. My Fancy has problems
when she's in a group of 3 as two play well together (no matter what two)
but its hard to play as three. She will usually end up backing off or just
excluding herself entirely.

I've been trying to mix it up a fair amount, giving the various twosomes
time together, giving everyone one-on-one time with me, and all of us
hanging out together. It's working well. Max is showing himself to be a
bit of a doggie genius thus far, he reads the other 2 very well, he is
ever alert yet very relaxed.
