Default puppy teeth- when to pull them?

At what point does it become necessary to have puppy teeth pulled if they
haven't fallen out on their own? Cali, almost 8 months old, still has 2 of
her puppy teeth and they aren't even close to wiggling out. I plan to have
them pulled when she is spayed but that isn't for another few months (was
scheduled for March but postponed due to her going into heat). I can
provide a picture of the teeth in question if that will help. Thanks for
any info.

If they don't seem to be causing any problems - ie not causing any pain or
discomfort I would just leave them until she is spayed - that way she
doesn't have to have two anaesthetics ....

What did your vet say?

I'd talk to the vet. But especially with upper canines, they tend to be
very slow to do. I pulled Zippers (well had them pulled) because the new
teeth coming in over the top were coming in too far forward, I didn't
want to ruin his bite. But he's a show dog. Does it seem to bother Cali?
It bothered Zip a bit I think--all that pressure from two teeth trying
to occupy one space.

they said pull them when she gets spayed but when she went into heat and I
had to cancel the spaying I forgot to ask about the teeth.

that's what I was worried about, the anaesthetics. I'd hate to put her thru
it twice unless really needed

I don't think so but they are both 2 nice sized teeth and the others pushed
in right next to them. I have a picture, maybe I'll load it on the website
I use.

I just called the vet and they said that the teeth should be fine. The
trainer says otherwise but alas, she is not a vet.

We usually recommend pulling them if they do not come out by 10 months, but
it isn't critical.
