bull. He needed 21 stitches in his arm, and moreover the dog owner

All that I can say is if this ever happens to me the owner will find their
butt in civil court real fast.I'd sue the owner for as much as I could
legally get from them.No one has a "right" to own such dangerous animals!

I feel about the same way you do; *especially* if the owner was unconcerned. However, I
believe people do have the right to own such a dangerous dog. Of course, with every right,
there comes responsibility; and I fully support stern punishment for not meeting those
responsibilities. I love large, powerful dogs, but they must be truly well maintained, in
every way. Otherwise, the liability is just too overwhelming. I have no empathy for owners
who fail to realize and respond to their responsibilities.

On the National Geographic Channel last night, I saw a Russian Caucasian Shepherd Dog.

natural aggression to everything and everyone outside of their "family." Frankly, I love
that feature, but it is just not practical for me.
