We just moved, and our new back yard has lots of concrete. Lots of grass
and natural areas too, but the concrete is what is relevant here... Anyway, Murphy, our 14 year old English Setter has paced around the concrete portion of the yard to the point that she has really abraided the pads on her feet. She's limping, and the pads seem to get worse by the day, not better. We've applied some topicals (pad wax, for instance) we found at the local pet store, but are looking for suggestions on what else we can do to help her get over her injuries... Suggestions appreciated. KB |

You could maybe try doggie footwear. The kind that are used for hiking
dogs. It would provide protection and help them heal sooner. Celeste "Kyle Boatright" wrote in message ... We just moved, and our new back yard has lots of concrete.
